Vacationing on Lake Champlain will be something you will
always remember. The lake itself gives you nothing but beauty, recreation and sheer pleasure,
while our Lake Champlain Victorian Cottage and the neighboring
Adirondack Camp summer vacation rentals give you the
places to spread out, enjoy and relax. Whether you vacation with a small family, another
couple or are planning a once in a lifetime family reunion, you won't find a better
combination of features anywhere - from the majesty of upstate
New York's Adirondack Mountains, to the charm of
Vermont's quaint towns, the improbable list of available
activities in the village of Westport, not to mention the
beautiful City of Montreal, just 90 miles up the road.

For those unfamiliar with Lake Champlain, it is a very large body of water separating upstate
New York from Vermont - 120 miles long and 12 miles across at its widest (referred to as the
Champlain Valley).
To the east rise Vermont's Green Mountains (see photo above). Looking from Vermont west one
sees the more dramatic upthrust of the Adirondack Mountains (photo right). The Lake is known
for its fishing and boating and is, in legend if not fact, home to its own sea monster, Champ.
Whether for a week or the summer season, the hub of your Lake Champlain vacation is either
the roomy Cottage or the cozy
Adirondack Camp next door. From either property you can
enjoy all that the Lake, Westport and the surrounding area have to
offer. And at the end of the day, you'll relax on the deck and watch the play of sunset on
the water, enjoy a quiet cocktail or kick back with a book while the kids enjoy a game of
croquet on the lawn. Then throw something on the grill and start resting up for the
adventures to come.
Happenings
Our cottage was chosen as one of 12 subjects for a new television series on the
Fine Living Network. The show is called Home Second Home and our
episode (1 hour) will hopefully air this Spring.
The cottage hosted two weddings in 2008.

Farms in Vermont.
